ORLANDO, FL (September 24, 2018) – Over the weekend, Aktion Parks participated and sponsored the 2018 St. Jude Walk/Run at Fun Spot America to help end childhood cancer.
Aktion Parks contributed a donation and gift vouchers to St. Jude. Investing in those in need and supporting local communities is a priority for Aktion Parks. Representatives from Aktion volunteered to cheer on racers during the event.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Through sponsors and many resources, St. Jude has increased the overall survival rate from less than 20% to 80% today.
“We have been looking forward to St. Jude’s event for a while now,” stated Aktion Parks Director Andrew Albury. “Everyone had a blast. Watching the community come together to support our own people in need is something that Aktion Parks will always want to be a part of.
