HEBER SPRINGS, AR (August 3, 2015) – Bass Cat recently revealed its 2016 model lineup at its “Excellence in Action” dealer meeting in Arkansas at Eden Isle Marina on Greers Ferry Reservoir. The event was followed by a demo day allowing bass fishing enthusiasts to experience the exciting new product first hand.

In addition to the excellent craftsmanship that has made Bass Cat legendary, the 2016 models incorporate a long list of value-packed features. Updated consoles feature Quicksilver analog gauges and engine match digital read upgrades (SC-1000 for Mercury, Command for Yamaha, ICON for Evinrude). Aluminum BalZout mounts allow anglers the option for two separate digital screens displaying electronic graphs. Individual model changes include optional premium FTD consoles, a Caracal style console available for premium models. A new option for the 2016 Caracal includes two 26-gallon tanks located in the rear, enhancing boat performance while allowing for under seat storage equipped with an ice chest. New push button LED courtesy lights, stainless steel livewell latches, and optional padded front deck are just a few of the best-in-class features found in all Bass Cat models.

Dealers were especially excited to experience the thrill of the 2016 Jaguar equipped with Mercury’s 400R Verado engine. This powerful engine pushes the Bass Cat’s top-end speed capability into the low to mid 80mph range giving tournament anglers a distinct advantage when driving to their fishing spots.

In another Bass Cat ground-breaking introduction, the 2016 Bass Cat custom-built trailers feature a new innovation never before seen in the industry. Equipped with a new Polyethylene Pillow Block Bunk System utilizing individual air pillow tubes heavily coated in Scorpion urethane, sealed and wrapped around treated 2×6 bunks, these new and innovative trailers provide a surface that further protects and preserves the legendary Bass Cat hull. Additional trailer features include amber colored Bass Cat logo lights and optional Mongoose wheels.

Bass Cat President Rick Pierce stated, “Enthusiasm related to the 2016 Bass Cat product line is high! The dealers were extremely excited about the direction of the company, the boats, and the aggressive marketing plans for model year 2016.” Pierce added, “This “Excellence in Action” dealer meeting was one of the best in our history!”
