OGDEN, UT (September 7, 2018) – Yesterday, Centurion Boats and its local dealers, BoardCo and Fred’s Marine, launched the 23rd World Wake Surf Championship presented by GM Marine at Cemetery Point Beach on Pineview Reservoir in Ogden, Utah.
WWSC is showcasing the world’s best surfing this weekend with 119 competitors from five different countries. This prestigious event will run from September 6th through the 8th and has a live webcast covering the competition. Athletes have been competing in the World Series of Wake Surfing events to earn a CWSA (Competitive Wake Surf Association) ranking that qualifies them for the Centurion World Wake Surfing Championship.
The 2018 WWSC unveiled the official towboats of the WWSC, the 2019 Centurion Ri237 and Ri257 Limited Edition Worlds Salute to Service boats. This competition is made possible through the service of men and women in our fire, police and armed forces. It is their defense of our safety and freedom that gives us the opportunity to focus on fun. Centurion’s Salute to Service flew the American flag to open the competition and continued to fly throughout the weekend for every competitor.
Centurion & Supreme Salute to Service sales promotion was also launched today along with the unveiling. Incentives are exclusively available to service men and women who purchase Centurion or Supreme Boats between September 6th and November 16th. The boats pulling the WWSC are available in three distinctly honorable designs. Those who currently serve or are retired law enforcement, firefighter or military can receive $7000.00 off of MSRP on a 2018 or 2019 Centurion boat. These heroes can also receive $5000.00 off of MSRP on a 2018 or 2019 Supreme boat. The goal with these Limited Edition Centurion boats is to inspire gratitude towards those who’s sacrifices make our lives better as well as donate $2500.00 per Limited Edition sold to a charity that benefits service men and women.
Throughout the competition, Centurion has offered a “Water Prove It” VIP Experience for potential Centurion boat owners. The VIP experience includes a demo ride of their boat of choice from the 2019 Centurion boat lineup along with a shaded area and food to watch the competition.
Yesterday at WWSC, Supreme released their 2019 Dealer Reveal. Twenty-eight Supreme dealers were able to see the new 2019 Supreme Boats model line. Later, people were able to participate in demo rides.
