PCM’S HYPERFORMANCE H6DI PULLS TWO NEW WOMEN’S WORLD JUMP RECORDS

ORLANDO, FL (September 29, 2016) – During Monday’s Ski Fluid Invitational in Polk City, Florida Nautique athlete Jacinta Carroll set two new pending Jump World Records pulled by the PCM HYPERFORMANCE H6DI powered Ski Nautique 200. It proved to be an historic day in the world of tournament waterskiing, as Carroll flew 194ft (59.2m) followed by a 198ft (60.3m) jump, making her the first female to ever break the 60-meter barrier.

This isn’t the first time Carroll has broken back-to-back world records. At the 2015 Sunset Cup, the tournament debut of PCM and GM Marine Technology’s powerful Direct Injection engines (H5DI and H6DI), she shattered the previous world record three times with jumps of 193ft (58.8m), 193ft (58.9m), and 194ft (59.1m).

“It’s always amazing to come to America and get a chance to jump behind the PCM H6DI engine. I know that every jump I will get a strong consistent pull giving me the best opportunity to fly far,” said Carroll.

In addition to Carroll’s World Records, there were numerous personal bests pulled behind PCM’s HYPERFORMANCE H6DI with industry leading horsepower and torque at last weekend’s Sunset Lakes Fall Classic. The outstanding performance of the H6DI pulled Centurion athlete Alex Laurentano 184ft to tie her Open Women’s National Record, two M4 Jump Records of 180ft and 182ft, a Chilean Junior Women’s Record of 144ft, and a Finnish Open Women’s Record tie of 179ft.

PCM President Mark McKinney stated, “We couldn’t be anymore proud of Jacinta and her accomplishments. The team here at PCM is excited to see the incredible power and torque of our engines taking these athletes to the highest level and making history.”
