MONTICELLO, AR (January 22, 2018) – Registration for the 8th Annual SeaArk Boats Owner’s Invitational Catfish Tournament opens today, January 22, 2018.
The tournament which will be held at Ingalls Harbor on Lake Wheeler in Decatur, AL on April 27-28 is expected to surpass last year’s entries of 141 teams. Registration packets are available to be downloaded via the SeaArk website. Entry forms must be submitted by April 13, to avoid a late fee.
Steve Henderson, SeaArk Boats President said “We’re thrilled for teams to start registering. Entries start coming in right away and we’re always excited to see tournament regulars as well as many new names. Anyone who is a SeaArk boat owner can participate, no matter their experience level.”
SeaArk pays to the top 20 places, through weight on legal catfish. There is also a drawing for a ProCat 200, that teams who check in one legal catfish are eligible to enter. This year’s prize boat is a ProCat 200 with Patriot Red Amped Package, Marine Master Amped Trailer, and a Suzuki DF200ATX, valued at $46,000. There are 2 new awards this year – the Goose Egg Award and the Little Cat Award – each will receive $500.
Current sponsors for the event include Decatur-Morgan County Convention and Visitors Bureau – who will be doing a $500 drawing for teams that stay in a host hotel, LINE-X® will be giving a certificate for the Big Fish winner, Suzuki Marine, Marine Master Trailers, Welsco® and Whisker Seeker Tackle.
