DAY TWO OF THE 2018 WORLD WAKE SURF CHAMPIONSHIPS

OGDEN, UT (September 8, 2018) – On day two of the 23rd World Wake Surf Championship presented by GM Marine athletes competed to qualify for finals at Cemetery Point Beach on Pineview Reservoir in Ogden, Utah.

Each day WWSC began with the anthem, the stars and stripes, and one of the 2019 Ri257 Salute to Service Limited Edition Centurion Boats. This prestigious event will run from September 6th though the 8th and has a live webcast covering the competition.

Yesterday athletes competed in the last chance qualifier in hopes to compete in the finals. The Competitive Wake Surf Association took the top two of each heat to advance. Finals will take place on day three. The following Centurion riders will compete in the finals: Jake Caster, Jake Breedlove, Keenan Flegel, Hunter Clement, Ricky Edmonds, Shawn Breedlove, Jake Scott, Cole Sorenson, Caro Villeneuve, Lara Latham, Ashley Kidd, Zoey Montgomery, Evan Hudson and Chad Hudson.

Centurion Team Rider, Hunter Clement, landed a new trick in this worlds competition. Clement will name the trick according to wake surfing tradition.

Throughout the competition, Centurion & Supreme has offered a “Water Prove It” VIP Experience for potential Centurion & Supreme boat owners. The VIP experience includes a demo ride of their boat of choice from the 2019 Centurion & Supreme boat lineup along with a shaded area and food to watch the competition. The new Supreme 2019 ZS boats were also available for demo rides.
