OPERATION WAKESURF VISITS PLEASURECRAFT ENGINE GROUP

LITTLE MOUNTAIN, SC (March 8, 2021) – Four members of Operation Wakesurf recently visited the Pleasurecraft Engine Group headquarters. On this visit, Robby Maschhaupt, Wendy Lawson, Mary Waring, and Jason McDonald took the opportunity to tour the Pleasurecraft facility, discuss current and future partnership opportunities, and share with Pleasurecraft employees the mission of Operation Wakesurf.

Operation Wakesurf is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide an unforgettable and unique experience to first responders and military personnel who keep our communities and country safe. Operation Wake Surf blends the healing power of water, camaraderie and mentorship via their compassionate coaches by sharing their passion for wake surfing with first responders and military personnel. This gives their participants an amazing experience on the water while instilling community, confidence, camaraderie and the respect they deserve.

In reference to the Operation Wakesurf visit, president of Pleasurecraft Mark McKinney stated, “It was an honor to host the Operation Wakesurf team and for our entire Pleasurecraft team to hear about their mission and what they do to serve our military and first responders.  It was a great opportunity for our employees to hear how their day to day dedication to building the best inboard engines impacts so many people around the world.
