MONTICELLO, AR (July 24, 2018) – SeaArk Pro Staff Member, Tabitha Linville, was recently named one of the Most Influential Female Anglers in North America by Wildlife Enthusiast Magazine.

According to Wildlife Enthusiast Magazine, the winners are based on the activity level, engagement, and influence on their social media pages. Out of the 30 women chosen, Linville is the only winner for catfishing.

“It’s very exciting to be one of the top 30 Most Influential Women Anglers in North America. I would have never expected this, because there are so many awesome women anglers out there. I’m honored that they chose me and I’m proud to be able to represent SeaArk within the catfishing community,” stated Linville.

Linville and her fiancé Justin joined the SeaArk team in April and run The Catfishing Duo guide service in their home state of West Virginia. They participate in many tournament and community events throughout the year. She started fishing at a young age and found catfishing in the early 2000’s, she’s been hooked ever since. Her largest catches are an 82 pound Blue and an 65 pound Flathead catfish. An issue that she is serious about and makes sure to always practice is the catch, photo, release method (CPR). Making sure that each fish is returned back to the water allows there to be an opportunity for other anglers and future generations to enjoy.

Steve Henderson, President stated, “We’re glad to have Tabitha on our team. We’ve known for a while that she is an impressive angler and more importantly an authentic person who cares for this sport. She is a role model and a true representation of the catfishing community. We’re proud of her accomplishment!”
